ගුරු පාදාභිවන්දනා – Teachers’ Day Felicitation 2025
The Senior Prefects’ Guild 2025/26 hosted ‘ගුරු පාදාභිවන්දනා’, the Teachers’ Day Felicitation on 7th October 2025 at the Jeremias Dias Hall, honouring the teachers who have been at the heart of every Visakhian’s journey.
At Visakha, teachers have always been more than just educators. They are mentors, role models, and guiding lights who shapes not just minds, but character and courage. Their influence, past and present, continues to echo through every life they’ve touched.
We were privileged to welcome Mr. Tharindu Dananjaya Weerasinghe, Senior Lecturer, Department of Human Resource Management, University of Kelaniya, as our Chief Guest.
