The Social Activities Subcommittee of Visakha Vidyalaya Old Girls’ Association
has organized a Beach Clean-up event which is scheduled to be held on 27th of March 2022 at Dehiwala – Mount Lavinia Beach from 6.30am onwards.
The main objective of this project is to clean the trash and debris from the coastal areas extending from Baracuda Restaurant from Dehiwala to Catamaran Beach Restaurant, Mount Lavinia and to create awareness amongst the VVOGA members on safeguarding the Coast line and Ocean eco system. This is one of the main CSR projects organized by the VVOGA, of which, the proceeds will be used as event expenses and to support the “Go Green” Project implemented by VVOGA.
