After two months of relentless hard work, Visakha Vidyalaya proudly emerged as Champions at the 50th All-Island Inter-School Shakespeare Drama Competition.
Individual Awards:
- Manekha Gomez – Winner of the Winifred Jayamaha Memorial Challenge Cup for Best Actress (Othello).
- Pabasara Peiris – Winner of the Rotary Club of Colombo North Challenge Trophy for Best Villain (Iago).
Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of the English Debating & Drama Society.
The applause may fade, but their achievement will be remembered. As Shakespeare wrote, “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players” and on this stage, our Visakhians brought every moment to life, leaving a legacy of excellence.
